Cakkhundarīya

Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (2) · Vol. 39 · Section 919

[919] For whomever, wherever, the life faculty (jīvitindriya) will arise, will the equanimity faculty (upekkhindriya) arise for that one there? For those immediately after whose mind (citta) the final mind (pacchimacitta) associated with joy (somanassa) will arise, and for the non-percipient beings (asaññasattā): for them, there, the life faculty will arise, but the equanimity faculty will not arise for them there. For the others — those of four-constituent existence (catuvokāra) and of five-constituent existence (pañcavokāra) — for them, there, the life faculty will arise and the equanimity faculty will arise. Or, for whomever, wherever, the equanimity faculty will arise, will the life faculty arise for that one there? Yes.
