[1251] For whom the joy faculty (somanassindriya) arose, will the equanimity faculty (upekkhindriya) arise for that one?
For those endowed with the final mind (pacchimacitta), and for those in immediate succession to whose mind (citta) the final mind associated with joy will arise, the joy faculty arose, but the equanimity faculty will not arise for them. For the others, both the joy faculty arose and the equanimity faculty will arise.
Or rather, for whom the equanimity faculty will arise, did the joy faculty arise for that one?
