[1376] Whoever will fully understand the eye faculty (cakkhundriya), will he develop the "I shall come to know the unknown" faculty (anaññātaññassāmītindriya)?
Six persons will fully understand the eye faculty, but they will not develop the "I shall come to know the unknown" faculty. Those worldlings (puthujjana) who will obtain the path — they will both fully understand the eye faculty and develop the "I shall come to know the unknown" faculty.
Or rather, whoever will develop the "I shall come to know the unknown" faculty, will he fully understand the eye faculty?
