[1386] "Whoever will not fully understand the eye faculty (cakkhundriya), will he not develop the 'I shall come to know the unknown' faculty (anaññātaññassāmītindriya)?"
"Yes."
"Or rather, whoever will not develop the 'I shall come to know the unknown' faculty, will he not fully understand the eye faculty?"
"Six persons will not develop the 'I shall come to know the unknown' faculty, but it is not that they will not fully understand the eye faculty. Three persons will not develop the 'I shall come to know the unknown' faculty and will not fully understand the eye faculty."
