[1409] One who does not abandon the grief faculty (domanassindriya) — did that one not develop the 'I shall come to know the unknown' faculty (anaññātaññassāmītindriya)?
Six persons (puggalā) do not abandon the grief faculty, but it is not the case that they did not develop the 'I shall come to know the unknown' faculty; two persons do not abandon the grief faculty and did not develop the 'I shall come to know the unknown' faculty.
Or rather, one who did not develop the 'I shall come to know the unknown' faculty — does that one not abandon the grief faculty?
