Pariññāvāra

Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (2) · Vol. 39 · Section 1408

[1408] Whoever does not fully understand the eye faculty (cakkhundriya), has that person not realized the perfect-knower faculty (aññātāvindriya)? The Arahant (arahā) does not fully understand the eye faculty, but it is not the case that he has not realized the perfect-knower faculty. Eight persons do not fully understand the eye faculty and have not realized the perfect-knower faculty. Or, whoever has not realized the perfect-knower faculty, does that person not fully understand the eye faculty? The person endowed with the highest path (aggamaggasamaṅgī) has not realized the perfect-knower faculty, but it is not the case that he does not fully understand the eye faculty. Eight persons have not realized the perfect-knower faculty and do not fully understand the eye faculty.
