Pariññāvāra

Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (2) · Vol. 39 · Section 1424

[1424] Whoever develops the perfect-knowledge faculty (aññindriya), will he realize the perfect-knower faculty (aññātāvindriya)? Yes. Or rather, whoever will realize the perfect-knower faculty, does he develop the perfect-knowledge faculty? Five persons (puggalā) will realize the perfect-knower faculty, but they do not develop the perfect-knowledge faculty; the three persons endowed with the highest path (aggamagga) both will realize the perfect-knower faculty and do develop the perfect-knowledge faculty.
