[1433] Will one who does not develop the 'I shall come to know the unknown' faculty (anaññātaññassāmītindriya) not realize the perfect-knower faculty (aññātāvindriya)?
Seven persons do not develop the 'I shall come to know the unknown' faculty, but it is not the case that they will not realize the perfect-knower faculty; two persons do not develop the 'I shall come to know the unknown' faculty and will not realize the perfect-knower faculty.
Or rather, does one who will not realize the perfect-knower faculty not develop the 'I shall come to know the unknown' faculty?
Yes (āmantā).
