[1393] Whoever will not develop the 'I shall come to know the unknown' faculty (anaññātaññassāmītindriya), will that one not realize the perfect-knower faculty (aññātāvindriya)?
Seven persons will not develop the 'I shall come to know the unknown' faculty, but it is not the case that they will not realize the perfect-knower faculty. Two persons will not develop the 'I shall come to know the unknown' faculty and will not realize the perfect-knower faculty.
Or rather, whoever will not realize the perfect-knower faculty, will that one not develop the 'I shall come to know the unknown' faculty?
