[1441] Whoever abandoned the grief faculty (domanassindriya), will that one realize the perfect-knower faculty (aññātāvindriya)?
The Arahant abandoned the grief faculty, but will not realize the perfect-knower faculty. Two persons both abandoned the grief faculty and will realize the perfect-knower faculty.
Or rather, whoever will realize the perfect-knower faculty, did that one abandon the grief faculty?
Six persons will realize the perfect-knower faculty, but did not abandon the grief faculty. Two persons both will realize the perfect-knower faculty and abandoned the grief faculty.
