Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (2) · Vol. 39 · Section 1442

[1442] Whoever developed the 'I shall come to know the unknown' faculty (anaññātaññassāmītindriya), will he develop the perfect-knowledge faculty (aññindriya)? Two persons (puggala) developed the 'I shall come to know the unknown' faculty, but they will not develop the perfect-knowledge faculty; five persons both developed the 'I shall come to know the unknown' faculty and will develop the perfect-knowledge faculty. Or rather, whoever will develop the perfect-knowledge faculty, did he develop the 'I shall come to know the unknown' faculty? Two persons will develop the perfect-knowledge faculty, but they did not develop the 'I shall come to know the unknown' faculty; five persons both will develop the perfect-knowledge faculty and developed the 'I shall come to know the unknown' faculty.
