Pariññāvāra

Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (2) · Vol. 39 · Section 1362

[1362] Whoever developed the faculty "I shall come to know the unknown" (anaññātaññassāmītindriya), did that one develop the perfect-knowledge faculty (aññindriya)? Six persons (puggalā) developed the faculty "I shall come to know the unknown" but did not develop the perfect-knowledge faculty; the Arahant (arahā) both developed the faculty "I shall come to know the unknown" and developed the perfect-knowledge faculty. Or rather, whoever developed the perfect-knowledge faculty, did that one develop the faculty "I shall come to know the unknown"? Yes.
