[1363] Whoever developed the faculty "I shall come to know the unknown" (anaññātaññassāmītindriya), did that person realize the perfect-knower faculty (aññātāvindriya)?
Seven persons developed the faculty "I shall come to know the unknown," but they did not realize the perfect-knower faculty. The Arahant both developed the faculty "I shall come to know the unknown" and realized the perfect-knower faculty.
Or rather, whoever realized the perfect-knower faculty, did that person develop the faculty "I shall come to know the unknown"?
