Uppādanirodhavāra

Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (2) · Vol. 39 · Section 327

[327] "For whom wholesome phenomena (kusalā dhammā) will not arise, for him unwholesome phenomena (akusalā dhammā) will not cease?" "Yes." "Or rather, for whom unwholesome phenomena will not cease, for him wholesome phenomena will not arise?" "Those who, in immediate succession to a [given] mind (citta), will obtain the supreme path (aggamagga) — for them unwholesome phenomena will not cease, but it is not the case that for them wholesome phenomena will not arise. For those endowed with the supreme path and for Arahants — for them unwholesome phenomena will not cease and wholesome phenomena will not arise."
