[449] Is what is not 'I shall come to know the unknown' (anaññātaññassāmīti) not a faculty (indriya)?
Setting aside 'I shall come to know the unknown', the remaining faculties are not 'I shall come to know the unknown', [but] are faculties; setting aside 'I shall come to know the unknown' and the faculties, the rest are neither 'I shall come to know the unknown' nor faculties.
Is what is not a faculty not the 'I shall come to know the unknown' faculty (anaññātaññassāmītindriya)?

Is what is not perfect knowledge (aññā) not a faculty?
