[697] For whomever, wherever, the femininity faculty (itthindriya) does not arise, does the wisdom faculty (paññindriya) not arise for that one there? For non-women being reborn associated with knowledge (ñāṇasampayutta), for them there the femininity faculty does not arise; but it is not the case that for them there the wisdom faculty does not arise. For all who are passing away, and for non-women being reborn dissociated from knowledge (ñāṇavippayutta), for them there the femininity faculty does not arise and the wisdom faculty does not arise. Or, for whomever, wherever, the wisdom faculty does not arise, does the femininity faculty not arise for that one there? For women being reborn dissociated from knowledge, for them there the wisdom faculty does not arise; but it is not the case that for them there the femininity faculty does not arise. For all who are passing away, and for non-women being reborn dissociated from knowledge, for them there the wisdom faculty does not arise and the femininity faculty does not arise.
