[873] Where the eye faculty (cakkhundriya) will arise, will the equanimity faculty (upekkhindriya) arise there?
Yes.
Or else, where the equanimity faculty will arise, will the eye faculty arise there?
In the immaterial [plane] (arūpa), the equanimity faculty will arise there, but the eye faculty will not arise there; in the five-constituent [plane] (pañcavokāra), both the equanimity faculty will arise there and the eye faculty will arise there.
