[18] Then the Venerable Aññākoṇḍañña — having seen the Dhamma, attained the Dhamma, understood the Dhamma, penetrated the Dhamma, having crossed beyond doubt (vicikicchā), with perplexity gone, having attained self-confidence, independent of others in the Teacher's dispensation — said this to the Blessed One: "Venerable sir, may I receive the going forth (pabbajjā) in the Blessed One's presence; may I receive the full ordination (upasampadā)."
"Come, bhikkhu," said the Blessed One. "The Dhamma is well proclaimed. Live the holy life (brahmacariya) for the complete making an end of suffering (dukkha)."
That itself was that venerable one's full ordination.
