They obtain the view that they belong to the same communion (samānasaṃvāsaka); having obtained the view that they belong to the same communion, they do not ask; not having asked, they perform the Invitation (pavāraṇā) together: no offense. … They ask; having asked, they do not come to a resolution; not having come to a resolution, they perform the Invitation together: an offense of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa).
