[1099] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) associated with painful feeling (dukkhā vedanā), a phenomenon associated with painful feeling arises, not by absorption condition (na jhāna-paccayā): Dependent on one aggregate (khandha) accompanied by pain, accompanied by body-consciousness (kāyaviññāṇa), two aggregates [arise]; dependent on two aggregates, one aggregate [arises].
