[1140] A phenomenon (dhamma) associated with pleasant feeling (vedanā) is a condition for a phenomenon associated with pleasant feeling by way of root condition (hetu-paccaya).
A root associated with pleasant feeling is a condition for the associated aggregates by way of root condition. At the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhi), a root associated with pleasant feeling is a condition for the associated aggregates by way of root condition.
