[1166] A phenomenon (dhamma) associated with painful feeling (dukkhā vedanā) is a condition for a phenomenon associated with painful feeling by way of connascence condition (sahajāta-paccaya). One aggregate (khandha) associated with painful feeling is a condition for two aggregates by way of connascence condition; two aggregates are a condition for one aggregate by way of connascence condition. Rebirth-linking (paṭisandhi) associated with painful feeling is not obtained.
