[1185] A phenomenon (dhamma) associated with painful feeling (dukkhā vedanā) is a condition, by kamma condition (kamma-paccaya), for a phenomenon associated with neither-painful-nor-pleasant feeling (adukkhamasukhā vedanā). Asynchronous (nānākhaṇika): volition (cetanā) associated with painful feeling is a condition, by kamma condition, for the resultant (vipāka) aggregates (khandhā) associated with neither-painful-nor-pleasant feeling.
