[1159] A phenomenon (dhamma) associated with painful feeling (dukkhā vedanā) is a condition for a phenomenon associated with painful feeling by way of immediacy condition (anantara-paccaya). Each preceding set of aggregates (khandhā) associated with painful feeling is a condition for each succeeding set of aggregates associated with painful feeling by way of immediacy condition.
