[1241] Dependent on a resultant phenomenon (vipāka dhamma) and a neither-resultant-nor-productive-of-resultant phenomenon (nevavipākanavipākadhammadhamma), a resultant phenomenon arises by root condition (hetu-paccaya): at the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhikkhaṇa), dependent on one resultant aggregate (khandha) and the base (vatthu), three aggregates arise; dependent on two aggregates and the base, two aggregates arise.
Dependent on a resultant phenomenon and a neither-resultant-nor-productive-of-resultant phenomenon, a neither-resultant-nor-productive-of-resultant phenomenon arises by root condition: dependent on the resultant aggregates and the great primary elements (mahābhūta), mind-originated matter (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa) arises; at the moment of rebirth-linking, dependent on the resultant aggregates and the great primary elements, kamma-born matter (kaṭattārūpa) arises.
