[1248] Dependent on a phenomenon that is neither a result nor productive of result (neva-vipāka-na-vipākadhamma-dhamma), there arises a phenomenon that is neither a result nor productive of result, by predominance condition (adhipati-paccaya):
Dependent on one aggregate (khandha) that is neither a result nor productive of result, there arise three aggregates and mind-originated materiality (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa); dependent on two aggregates, there arise two aggregates and mind-originated materiality; dependent on one primary element (mahābhūta), there arise three primary elements; dependent on the primary elements, there arise mind-originated materiality and kamma-born materiality (kaṭattā-rūpa) that is derivative materiality (upādā-rūpa).
