[1270] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) that is neither result nor productive of result (nevavipākanavipākadhammadhamma), a phenomenon that is neither result nor productive of result arises, not by root condition (na-hetu-paccayā):
Dependent on one rootless (ahetuka) aggregate (khandha) that is neither result nor productive of result, three aggregates and mind-originated form (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa) arise; dependent on two aggregates, two aggregates and mind-originated form arise; dependent on one great primary element (mahābhūta), three great primary elements arise; dependent on two great primary elements, two great primary elements arise; dependent on the great primary elements, mind-originated form and kamma-born form (kaṭattā-rūpa) that are derivative form (upādā-rūpa) arise; external form … nutriment-originated (āhārasamuṭṭhāna) form … temperature-originated (utusamuṭṭhāna) form …; for the non-percipient beings (asaññasattā): dependent on one great primary element, three great primary elements arise; dependent on the great primary elements, kamma-born form that is derivative form arises.
