[1271] Dependent (paṭicca) on a resultant (vipāka) phenomenon (dhamma) and a phenomenon that is neither resultant nor productive of resultants (nevavipākanavipākadhammadhamma), a resultant phenomenon arises, not by root condition (na-hetupaccayā): at the moment of rootless rebirth-linking (ahetuka-paṭisandhikkhaṇa), dependent on one resultant aggregate (khandha) and the base (vatthu), three aggregates arise; dependent on two aggregates and the base, two aggregates arise.
Dependent on a resultant phenomenon and a phenomenon that is neither resultant nor productive of resultants, a phenomenon that is neither resultant nor productive of resultants arises, not by root condition: dependent on rootless resultant aggregates and the primary elements (mahābhūta), mind-originated form (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa) arises; at the moment of rootless rebirth-linking, dependent on resultant aggregates and the primary elements, form produced by kamma (kaṭattā-rūpa) arises.
