[1340] Conditioned by a result phenomenon (vipāka dhamma), a result phenomenon arises, not by root condition (na-hetupaccaya): Namely, conditioned by one rootless (ahetuka) resultant aggregate, three [aggregates arise]. Conditioned by a phenomenon productive of result (vipākadhammadhamma), a phenomenon productive of result arises, not by root condition: Namely, conditioned by the aggregates accompanied by doubt, accompanied by restlessness, [there arises] delusion (moha) accompanied by doubt, accompanied by restlessness. Conditioned by a phenomenon that is neither result nor productive of result (nevavipākanavipākadhammadhamma), a phenomenon that is neither result nor productive of result arises, not by root condition: Namely, conditioned by one rootless aggregate that is neither result nor productive of result, [three aggregates arise]. Conditioned by a phenomenon that is neither result nor productive of result, a result phenomenon arises, not by root condition: Namely, conditioned by the eye sense base (cakkhāyatana), [there arises] eye-consciousness (cakkhuviññāṇa) … Conditioned by a phenomenon that is neither result nor productive of result, a phenomenon productive of result arises, not by root condition: Namely, conditioned by the base (vatthu), [there arises] delusion accompanied by doubt, accompanied by restlessness. Conditioned by a phenomenon that is neither result nor productive of result, a result phenomenon and a phenomenon that is neither result nor productive of result arise, not by root condition: Namely, conditioned by the base, [there arise] the rootless resultant aggregates; conditioned by the primary elements (mahābhūta), [there arises] mind-originated form; at the moment of rootless rebirth-linking (paṭisandhi) … Conditioned by a result phenomenon and a phenomenon that is neither result nor productive of result, a result phenomenon arises … a phenomenon that is neither result nor productive of result arises … a result phenomenon and a phenomenon that is neither result nor productive of result arise, not by root condition. Conditioned by a phenomenon productive of result and a phenomenon that is neither result nor productive of result, a phenomenon productive of result arises, not by root condition: Namely, conditioned by the aggregates accompanied by doubt, accompanied by restlessness, and the base, [there arises] delusion accompanied by doubt, accompanied by restlessness. Conditioned by a result phenomenon, a phenomenon that is neither result nor productive of result arises, not by object condition (na-ārammaṇapaccaya). In brief (saṅkhittaṃ).
