[1281] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) that is neither result nor productive of result (nevavipākanavipākadhammadhamma), there arises a phenomenon that is neither result nor productive of result, not by prenascence condition (na-purejāta-paccaya):
In the immaterial [plane] (āruppa), dependent on one aggregate (khandha) that is neither result nor productive of result, three aggregates [arise]; dependent on two aggregates, two aggregates; dependent on aggregates that are neither result nor productive of result, mind-originated form (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa) [arises]; dependent on one great element (mahābhūta), three great elements; external [form] … nutriment-originated [form] … temperature-originated [form] …; for the non-percipient beings (asaññasattā), dependent on one great element ….
Dependent on a phenomenon that is neither result nor productive of result, there arises a resultant (vipāka) phenomenon, not by prenascence condition:
At the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhikkhaṇa), dependent on the base (vatthu), resultant aggregates [arise].
