[1298] Dependent on a phenomenon that is neither result nor productive of result (nevavipākanavipākadhammadhamma), a phenomenon that is neither result nor productive of result arises, not by dissociation condition (na-vippayutta-paccaya).
In the immaterial plane (āruppa), dependent on one aggregate (khandha) that is neither result nor productive of result, three aggregates arise; dependent on two aggregates, two aggregates arise. External [materiality] … nutriment-originated (āhārasamuṭṭhāna) … temperature-originated (utusamuṭṭhāna) …
For the non-percipient beings (asaññasattā), dependent on one primary element (mahābhūta), three primary elements arise; dependent on the primary elements, kamma-born materiality (kaṭattārūpa) that is derivative materiality (upādārūpa) arises.
