[1318] Conditioned by a phenomenon (dhamma) that is neither resultant nor has result as its nature (nevavipākanavipākadhammadhamma), a phenomenon that is neither resultant nor has result as its nature arises by object condition (ārammaṇa-paccaya):
Conditioned by one aggregate that is neither resultant nor has result as its nature, three aggregates arise; conditioned by two aggregates, two aggregates arise; conditioned by the base (vatthu), aggregates that are neither resultant nor have result as their nature arise.
Conditioned by a phenomenon that is neither resultant nor has result as its nature, a resultant phenomenon (vipāka) arises by object condition:
Conditioned by the eye sense base (cakkhāyatana), eye-consciousness arises; conditioned by the ear sense base, ear-consciousness arises; conditioned by the nose sense base, nose-consciousness arises; conditioned by the tongue sense base, tongue-consciousness arises; conditioned by the body sense base, body-consciousness arises; conditioned by the base, resultant aggregates arise; at the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhi), conditioned by the base, resultant aggregates arise.
Conditioned by a phenomenon that is neither resultant nor has result as its nature, a phenomenon having result as its nature (vipākadhammadhamma) arises by object condition:
Conditioned by the base, aggregates having result as their nature arise.
