Abhidhammapiṭaka · Paṭṭhāna (1) · Vol. 40 · Section 1397

[1397] A resultant phenomenon (vipāko dhammo) is a condition (paccaya), by dissociation condition (vippayutta-paccaya), for a phenomenon that is neither result nor productive of result (nevavipākanavipākadhammadhamma) — conascent (sahajāta), postnascent (pacchājāta). Conascent: resultant aggregates (vipākā khandhā) [are a condition] for mind-originated forms (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa); at the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhikkhaṇa), resultant aggregates [are a condition] for kamma-born forms (kaṭattārūpa). Postnascent: resultant aggregates are a condition, by dissociation condition, for this prenascent (purejāta) body.
