[1482] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is not clung-to and not conducive to clinging (anupādinna-anupādāniya) is a condition, by root condition (hetu-paccaya), both for a phenomenon that is not clung-to but conducive to clinging (anupādinna-upādāniya) and for a phenomenon that is not clung-to and not conducive to clinging.
Roots (hetū) that are not clung-to and not conducive to clinging are a condition, by root condition, for the associated aggregates (khandha) and for mind-originated forms (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa).
