[1541] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is not clung to but subject to clinging (anupādinnupādāniya) is a condition, by postnascence condition (pacchājāta-paccaya), for a phenomenon that is clung to and subject to clinging (upādinnupādāniya) and for a phenomenon that is not clung to but subject to clinging. Postnascent (pacchājātā): aggregates that are not clung to but subject to clinging are a condition, by postnascence condition, for this prenascent (purejāta) body that is clung to and subject to clinging and not clung to but subject to clinging.
