[1618] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is not-clung-to and not favorable to clinging (anupādinna-anupādāniya) is a condition, by presence condition (atthi-paccaya), for a phenomenon that is clung-to and favorable to clinging (upādinnupādāniya) and for a phenomenon that is not-clung-to but favorable to clinging (anupādinnupādāniya).
Postnascent (pacchājāta): aggregates (khandhā) that are not-clung-to and not favorable to clinging are a condition, by presence condition, for this prenascent (purejāta) body that is both clung-to and favorable to clinging and not-clung-to but favorable to clinging.
