[1581] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is clung to and subject to clinging is a condition, by absorption condition (jhāna-paccaya), both for a phenomenon that is clung to and subject to clinging and for a phenomenon that is not clung to but subject to clinging: Absorption factors (jhānaṅga) that are clung to and subject to clinging are a condition, by absorption condition, for the associated aggregates (khandha) and for mind-originated forms (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa).
