[1654] A clung-to and subject-to-clinging (upādinnupādāniya) phenomenon (dhamma) and a not-clung-to but subject-to-clinging (anupādinnupādāniya) phenomenon are [a condition] for a clung-to and subject-to-clinging phenomenon and for a not-clung-to but subject-to-clinging phenomenon — [by way of] nutriment (āhāra).
