[1627] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is clung-to and subject to clinging (upādinnupādāniya) and a phenomenon that is not clung-to but subject to clinging (anupādinnupādāniya) are a condition for a phenomenon that is clung-to and subject to clinging and for a phenomenon that is not clung-to but subject to clinging, by presence condition (atthi-paccaya).
By way of nutriment (āhāra): edible food (kabaḷiṅkāra āhāra) that is clung-to and subject to clinging and that is not clung-to but subject to clinging is a condition for the body that is clung-to and subject to clinging and that is not clung-to but subject to clinging, by presence condition.
