[1570] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is clung-to and subject to clinging (upādinnupādāniya) and a phenomenon that is not clung-to but subject to clinging (anupādinnupādāniya) are a condition for a phenomenon that is not clung-to but subject to clinging by nutriment condition (āhāra-paccaya).
Edible food (kabaḷīkārāhāra), both that which is clung-to and subject to clinging and that which is not clung-to but subject to clinging, is a condition for the body that is not clung-to but subject to clinging by nutriment condition.
