[1560] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is clung-to and subject to clinging (upādinnupādāniya) is a condition, by nutriment condition (āhāra-paccaya), for a phenomenon that is clung-to and subject to clinging. Nutriments (āhāra) that are clung-to and subject to clinging are a condition, by nutriment condition, for the associated aggregates (sampayuttakā khandhā). At the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhikkhaṇa), nutriments that are clung-to and subject to clinging are a condition, by nutriment condition, for the associated aggregates and for the forms produced by kamma (kaṭattā-rūpa). Edible nutriment (kabaḷīkāra āhāra) that is clung-to and subject to clinging is a condition, by nutriment condition, for the body (kāya) that is clung-to and subject to clinging.
