[1561] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is clung to and subject to clinging (upādinnupādāniya) is a condition for a phenomenon that is not clung to but subject to clinging (anupādinnupādāniya) by nutriment condition (āhāra-paccaya):
Nutriments (āhāra) that are clung to and subject to clinging are a condition for forms originated by mind (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa) by nutriment condition. Edible food (kabaḷīkāra āhāra) that is clung to and subject to clinging is a condition for the body that is not clung to but subject to clinging by nutriment condition.
