[1562] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is clung-to and subject to clinging (upādinnupādāniya) is a condition for a phenomenon that is clung-to and subject to clinging and for a phenomenon that is not clung-to but subject to clinging (anupādinnupādāniya) by nutriment condition (āhāra-paccaya).
Nutriments (āhārā) that are clung-to and subject to clinging are a condition for the associated aggregates (sampayuttaka khandhā) and for mind-originated forms (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa) by nutriment condition. Edible nutriment (kabaḷīkārāhāra) that is clung-to and subject to clinging is a condition for the body (kāya) that is clung-to and subject to clinging and for the body that is not clung-to but subject to clinging by nutriment condition.
