[1563] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is not clung to but subject to clinging is a condition for a phenomenon that is not clung to but subject to clinging by nutriment condition (āhāra-paccaya). Nutriments (āhārā) that are not clung to but subject to clinging are a condition for the associated aggregates (khandhā) and for mind-originated forms (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa) by nutriment condition. Edible nutriment (kabaḷiṅkāra āhāra) that is not clung to but subject to clinging is a condition for the body that is not clung to but subject to clinging by nutriment condition.
