[1572] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is clung-to and subject to clinging (upādinnupādāniya) is a condition, by faculty condition (indriya-paccaya), for a phenomenon that is clung-to and subject to clinging.
Faculties (indriya) that are clung-to and subject to clinging are a condition, by faculty condition, for the associated aggregates (sampayuttaka khandhā). At the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhikkhaṇa), faculties that are clung-to and subject to clinging are a condition, by faculty condition, for the associated aggregates and for the kamma-born forms (kaṭattārūpa).
The eye faculty (cakkhundriya) is a condition for eye-consciousness (cakkhuviññāṇa), the body faculty (kāyindriya) for body-consciousness (kāyaviññāṇa), and the material life faculty (rūpajīvitindriya) for the kamma-born forms, by faculty condition.
