[1658] With the root condition (hetu-paccaya): in the not-object (na-ārammaṇa) [condition], seven … in the not-predominance (na-adhipati), seven; in the not-proximity (na-anantara), seven; in the not-contiguity (na-samanantara), seven; in the not-mutuality (na-aññamañña), four; in the not-decisive-support (na-upanissaya), seven; in the not-prenascence (na-purejāta), seven; in the not-postnascence (na-pacchājāta), seven; in the not-repetition (na-āsevana), seven; in the not-kamma (na-kamma), seven; in the not-result (na-vipāka), four; in the not-nutriment (na-āhāra), seven; in the not-faculty (na-indriya), seven; in the not-jhāna (na-jhāna), seven; in the not-path (na-magga), seven; in the not-association (na-sampayutta), four; in the not-dissociation (na-vippayutta), three; in the not-absence (no-natthi), seven; in the not-disappearance (no-vigata), seven. With the root, conascence (sahajāta), dependence (nissaya), presence (atthi), and non-disappearance (avigata) [conditions]: in the not-object, seven … in the not-predominance, seven; in the not-proximity, seven. (Abbreviated.) As the enumeration of the positive-negative [method] (anuloma-paccanīya) has been set out in the wholesome triad (kusalattika), so should it be counted [here].
