[1690] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is defiled and connected with defilements (saṅkiliṭṭhasaṅkilesika) is a condition for a phenomenon that is undefiled but connected with defilements (asaṅkiliṭṭhasaṅkilesika) by immediacy condition (anantara-paccaya). Aggregates (khandhā) that are defiled and connected with defilements are a condition for emergence (vuṭṭhāna) by immediacy condition.
