[1754] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is defiled and subject to defilement (saṅkiliṭṭha-saṅkilesika) is a condition for a phenomenon that is defiled and subject to defilement and for a phenomenon that is undefiled but subject to defilement (asaṅkiliṭṭha-saṅkilesika), by way of connascence condition (sahajāta-paccaya).
