[1682] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is defiled and connected with defilements (saṅkiliṭṭha-saṅkilesika) is a condition (paccaya) for a phenomenon that is undefiled but connected with defilements (asaṅkiliṭṭha-saṅkilesika) by predominance condition (adhipati-paccaya). Conascence-predominance (sahajātādhipati): a predominant [factor] (adhipati) that is defiled and connected with defilements is a condition for mind-originated material phenomena (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa) by predominance condition.
