[1718] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is undefiled and not subject to defilement (asaṅkiliṭṭha-asaṅkilesika) is a condition, by kamma condition (kamma-paccaya), for a phenomenon that is undefiled but subject to defilement (asaṅkiliṭṭha-saṅkilesika). Conascent (sahajāta): volition (cetanā) that is undefiled and not subject to defilement is a condition, by kamma condition, for mind-originated forms (cittasamuṭṭhāna rūpa).
